Spring Hockey will contain some instructional time but will be mostly game play. Players who did not participate in the Town of Mamaroneck Youth Hockey Program will be evaluated the first 2 weeks and will be placed according to their ability. All teams will be coached by individual coaches. All participants must be pre registered with USA Hockey prior to registering for the program. No player will be allowed on the ice without being registered. No refunds will be given for program fees. Mandatory equipment: A USA Ice Hockey approved helmet and full face guard (clear plastic or a cage), a colored mouth piece which must be attached to the face guard, Ice hockey gloves, ice hockey elbow, shin and shoulder pads, ice hockey pants, supporter and protective cup (boys), pelvic protector (girls) neck guard, ice hockey stick and skates. Hockey socks to cover shin guards. No one will be permitted on the ice without proper equipment. All placements that do not meet the age groupings will be at sole
discretion of the program director.
